With over 35 years in the building and maintenance trade, I bring real, hands-on experience to every job — the kind you can’t buy, only earn. From plastering walls to roofing repairs and everything in between, I’ve seen it all and fixed most of it.

A Solid Foundation in Craftsmanship

I left school at 16 and went straight into the trades — enrolling at Brunel Technical College in Bristol to study Plastering & Rendering. There, I specialised in both Solid Plastering and Fibrous (Ornate) Plastering, learning to work with traditional lime-based materials as well as modern systems. I went on to achieve my Level 3 Diploma in Plastering, awarded by City & Guilds, one of the UK’s most trusted names in vocational training

Level 2: Health, Safety & Welfare in Construction

Level 2: Principles of Building Construction

Level 3: Organising, Planning & Pricing Construction Work

These qualifications form the backbone of the practical, no-nonsense workmanship I offer today.

Work Experience Abroad & At Home

After college, I worked as a plasterer in Germany for several years — learning the trade under different techniques and standards. On returning to the UK, I spent over a decade working in damp-proofing and timber decay restoration, giving me solid knowledge of how buildings breathe and how to keep them sound from the inside out.

35+ Years in Building & Maintenance

From small repair jobs to full refurbishments, I’ve worked across South West in plastering, roofing, rendering, guttering, joinery, damp treatment, and more. Whether it’s a fresh coat of render or fixing up the roof before winter, I take on every job with care and pride.
